END OF TERM CHEMISTRY EXAM
In
January, you will be sitting an exam which will assess all of the chemistry
topics you have studied so far. The exam will closely match the conditions you will
experience in the real GCSE exams. The paper will last for one hour, and will
be out of 100 marks. This will be a valuable tool for you to practice exam
technique and understand where your strengths and weaknesses are. Prepare well
of this exam so that the feedback you will receive will be useful to you!
The following topics will be tested:
States of matter
Separating mixtures
Atomic structure
The periodic table
Ionic bonding
Covalent bonding
Metallic bonding
Some of these topics were studied in Y9 (Periodic table,
